All our Focus Groups are overseen by one of the WPRA Directors, and led by a Focus Group Officer, who was duly elected by the members of the Association. The group comprises volunteers with the objectives and interest of each specific Focus Group at heart.
SCOPE AND OVERVIEW
The WPRA Community and Fundraising Officer will steer and drive the Community and Fundraising Focus Group in line with the objectives of WPRA as set out in its Memorandum of Incorporation. (“MOI”).
Objectives include:
- Initiate Community based projects and initiatives to build a strong sense of community within the residents of Wierda Park.
- Manage social events as identified together with the WPRA Executive Committee.
- Determine budgets and financial requirements for specific initiatives together with the WPRA Treasurer, and to manage fundraising projects, together with the various Focus Groups, for the funding of these ventures.
- Assist in building general funding for the Association, together with the Treasurer and the WPRA Executive Committee.
